Experiment time!!!
So I have an experiment I would like you all to try...
I want everyone to sit and think about their lives from birth till now. Think about your age, any illnesses you have or have had in the past, how many children you've had, your social standing, everything about yourself, including simple things like your hair, eye color including your genetic origins i.e. Irish, Spanish, Chinese, etc.
Pick a year that you know quite a bit about whether it be from the 1970's the whole way back to 1239. Now I want you to take all that information about yourself and send yourself back to the year you picked.
Now as you stand there watching the world going around about you, think about your ancestors, where are they from during that time period. Send yourself there. Now you are standing as you are, in a time period and place of your ancestors. Dress yourself as they are dressed, in the whole aspect of attire. Think about the clothes you are wearing. Are you well off or are you a peasant? Are you still married and how many children do you have? Think about the life you would be living. Think of everything about yourself and fit it into that situation. What kind of life do you have? Is it a good one? What type of job do you have in this time period?
As you have gathered yourself together living in this new world, take a hold of yourself? Think about any and all of the illnesses you have suffered from or currently suffering from. For me personally, I have glasses, so depending on the time period, I would be considered blind as a bat. What kind of life would that be? When did I start losing my eye sight? As a child, now I take that back into the past with me. I'm curious, as to what might have become of me. Knowing at that point in time if glasses weren't readily available, and if they are available, what kind would they be? I just want you all to really place yourselves in this world. Don't forget to throw in your personality...
As you dive deeper into this unknown world, think about how your life has passed throughout the years? As a child did you get sick a lot?
